Believe it or not, I’ve not always been a photographer. Like many people, I have a past ππ … Over the years I’ve worn many hats in the digital media field – web developer, graphic designer, videographer and video editor.
On my journey, I’ve had the privilege to work alongside churches like Grace Family Church, Swallowfield Chapel and Transformed Life Church, helping them to meet some of their digital media needs. My last contract included acquiring media equipment to facilitate live streaming.
While grounded at home during the COVID-19 pandemic I’ve been watching a few church live streams – local & international and everything feels a bit “samey” with some churches executing their streams better than others.
I made an appeal on Sunday, March 29th through my WhatsApp, Facebook & Instagram stories for churches to mix up their content and not be so “predict_ b_ e”.
What I’ve learned over time is that if I’m gonna open my mouth about a problem I should be willing to offer a solution.
So what’s my solution? Well, I’ve created a simple live stream guide for churches. The guide runs through some of the basics for churches that may not have done a live stream before using the smartphones. It also offers a few tips on how to level up for those who have been doing it for a minute.
You can download the guide for $0 using the link below and share it with your church community.
